Hi together,
I'm running a QAT installation, Version 3.1.1.3. in a Ubuntu 20.04 LTS virtual machine using virtualBox.
I do so for a while now, everything is just fine.
I have installed google chrome following the installation guide.

If I try to export any PDF, no matter if i try to export a single performed test as PDF or if I try to save a report as PDF, I get the Error attached.
Export a CSV or excel-File works fine.

Chrome itself works (I can use this very chrome installation to access QAT).

Any uploaded pictures are in the database, I can see old tests - no problem there.

What can I try to do?

Hi,
this might be a user rights problem. Did you check the log files under ../web/qatrackplus/logs/? Probably the report-stderr.txt oder the ...-stdout.txt could give you hints.

I have similar issues, but if it is user rights problem, how to solve it?

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "C:\deploy\qatrackplus\qatrack\qatrack_core\utils.py", line 48, in chrometopdf
    command = [
OSError: chrome '' executable not found

That is my error. So chrome is installed, path varibale is good, checked, can access it and open it also via cmd. I can even generate pdf with test script using chrometopdf function (in utils.py file). But somehow reports from qatrack in browser it is not working. Anyone has any ideas?

Hi Ante,

Since you are running on Windows, you should check to see what user the Cherry Py service is running as.  It's possible that the service user doesn't have access to Chrome.  This might explain why chrometopdf is working from the command line (since it's your user) but not from the application?
