Unable to start QATrack 31 CherryPy Service in Windows Services

Hi I am trying to follow the steps in :  https://docs.qatrackplus.com/en/stable/install/win.html#new-installation to setup QA Track Plus, but when i get the stage of Configuring CherryPy to Serve QATrack+, I can not get the QATrack 31 CherryPy Service to start. I get error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Alan,

A couple things to check

1) Did you install Python for all users (specified here: https://docs.qatrackplus.com/en/stable/install/win.html#installing-python-3)
2) Did you install the service with administrator privileges?  Did you run the post_install step (https://docs.qatrackplus.com/en/stable/install/win.html#configuring-cherrypy-to-serve-qatrack)
3) There may be more information that can help to debug things in one of the log files in C:\deploy\qatrackplus\logs\  If you can send any errors here it might help to debug the issue

Hi Randy,

I turned out to be the Python not being installed to all users, i must of double clicked or something during install.

This worked for me. Install python on all users.
