Automatic test skip

Hi there,

I created different test lists (daily frequency) with large number of different test (up to 20), but just one test per day has to be performed. How can I define as automatically flagged the "skip" square for all the test, in order to just de-select the only one I'm performing?

Hi Thomas, thank you for your quick reply. Actually the method described does not permit to insert the result of any test, if applied to each of them. My goal is to make the "skip" square flagged by default for all the listed tests listed (they are a lot for each test list) in order then to de-flag only the one I perform and insert the result.

Is it possible?

Hi Luca,

When I create a simple numerical test and add the following lines in the calculation procedure

test_skip = 0
UTILS.set_skip("test_skip", True)

My Test list looks like this:

The test is skipped by default even though a default value is present. If I uncheck the skip I can change the value of the test.

Which QATrack+ Version do you use?

Great Thomas, now it works! The test was set as composite, but making it a simple numerical it works perfectly.

Regarding skipping of tests... Is there By way for the skip just not to show at all on some tests / realists?

No, there's currently no way to disable skipping entirely for a test or test list.
