Hi folks,

Welcome to qarrtsiluni's new list for major announcements; thanks for joining. We're anxious to see how well this system works, but we didn't want to test it until we actually had something major to announce.

A Walk Through the Memory Palace by Pamela Johnson Parker, Qarrtsiluni's first chapbook, is now out, and it's a thing of beauty in both its print and online incarnations. Please visit our anouncement post for the full details,

In other major news, we've adopted a new a site design and turned the audio files of authors reading their works into an (almost-)daily podcast. Author bios will now appear below their works instead of being relegated to a "notes on contributors" post at the end of the issue.

We will begin serializing the Words of Power issue on Wednesday, and we have to say, this theme really prompted some interesting submissions! We received a record number, too. (If you're one of the folks who submitted work in the last three days before the deadline, we promise to get back to you very soon.)

Look for an announcement about the next submissions period on November 1. In the meantime, please do stop by the site, check out our new look, and of course check out A Walk Through the Memory Palace.
