Thinkpad e14 gen 2 - manjaro kde - kernel 5.13
I cant change both of them in any way I tried different themes but it always stays on the default one. And both of them has different wallpapers. Its so annoying. I waited for the new kernel but its 5.13 and still same issue, it was on 5.12 too.
How can I fix it?
Now with a different wallpaper for the lock screen, I can go to the app and choose the wallpaper image and it now gives me an option to replace either the home screen or both the home screen and the lock screen.
I have seen several topics, which talk about changing the lock screen, for example putting the login screen in its place, but I think the lock screen there is fine, although I think that the solution of putting the lock screen starting again is the best but if at least I could change the background of the lock screen or that the background that I choose for my login screen is the same as the one that appears on the lock screen.
Answer my question partially. I have a wallpaper on my desktop, and I have another wallpaper on my login, but when the screen locks, the wallpaper is the default, that is, lockscreen = default.
I do not know if there is any configuration as in previous versions, or if by default it should be the same wallpaper as the home screen, but it does not work like that for me.
You are right I tried to put a background of the ones that the system has by default and the same background appears for the lock screen.
My problem was that I downloaded a photo from the internet and placed it in the folder of Images in the user folder and then I right clicked and set it as desktop background, it is clear that that works badly since it should also be set as background of screen on the lock screen, but hey at least I already know how to set the background correctly.
in ios 16, branded live wallpapers and special ones for the iphone xs max model have completely disappeared, which is very sad, I hope that Apple developers will return live wallpapers from live photo and exclusive for that model live wallpapersand that I have already tried to put several live photos as wallpaper, but they are just like a static picture and more than one tip from apple care support did not help
Android had live wallpapers ages ago and apple is still unable to crack it. The long press in ios to animate wallpaper concept belongs to the stone age. Bored of seeing the same icons and theme in ios. I might as well switch to android as it offers loads of customization and the phone turns magical and lively. If I'm paying 1000 bucks, I want the phone screen to look how I want it not how apple wants it!
Please stop yelling, DEV knows better what you like and what is not necessary for you any more. They just remove live photo so accept it, adapt yourself to new idea bacause probably you don't understand it at all. Of course they could did a pinch gesture (android style) or L gesture or any other gesture to enable edit mode for lock screen insted of hold a touch what was a live photo start but... if they decide to remove it it's just done. Sometimes if you take out you phone from a pocket and realize that lock screen widget was changed due to self auto hold touch and random edit of lock screen, please don't scream it's a new surprise like 1st April so be smiled and happy you just get a bonus.
At first glance, Path to current desktop backgrounds in Windows 10?, although not exactly a duplicate, appeared to have the path I wanted. But when I went there, the pre-login image was there, but the lock-screen image was not. (And contrary to the claim in that answer, the files there did have extensions.)
UPDATE: I just did a lockscreen, and got an image that IS in that directory, but earlier today, it was consistently an image of an interesting footbridge that is not in that directory.
In this directory you will see a bunch of files without extensions. These are the incognito image files. These are jpeg images of various resolutions to meet the needs of multiple devices screen sizes. You can copy the files to another location and rename them to have the jpeg extension, then you can open them with your default image viewer.
This location does not only contain the desktop wallpapers, but also icons, wallpapers in portrait format and other files. All files do not have file extensions, so you cannot view them by double clicking or having a preview.
I am making a wallpaper app. Here I am taking images from Firebase database. I want to give the users the option to set it as wallpaper and lockscreen. I was able to set the image as wallpaper by the following code
