Hi All,

Can we perform complete desktop application testing using AutoIT tool.

Can anyone suggest open source tool for automation testing for desktop applications.

AutoIT is a good tool but the problem with it is if the same script using autoit has to run on other platforms then Autoit does not support them. As far as UFT is concerned it is not a freeware/opensource tool to be looked into though it would be a perfect tool. Winium is one such thing which can be looked into, it is there on GitHub. Check it out.
