Bonjour Jean,

Kudos on QAP.... I am slowly falling in love with it after a false start. Bravo!

I have a quick question... is it possible to paste a string to the command line (as a snippet)? OR another way?

I can't seem to insert text into the command line with QAP. Could I possibly be doing something wrong?

Many thanks

Hi Ryan,

QAP can paste snippets in command line or PowerShell windows. As it can change folders in these windows if you select a folder in the QAP menu.

But it will not work if your CMD window is opened as administrator. In this situation, no program running in normal mode could interact with the CMD window. To do this, you would have to launch QAP as administrator (see in "Options", first tab). However, based on the experiences reported by other users, running QAP as admin can bring other issues depending on your other applications.

Thanks for the kudos :-)

Jean
