I'd like to use QAP to insert/paste the current date. For example, to paste in a document, or when naming or renaming a file.

Preferably formatted as: YYYY-MM-DD

Any suggestions?

Hi Vernon,

See the attached file for how I do this. Create a menu item of type App and point to it.

Let me know if you have any questions or need additional information.

@Dale: Thank you for this nice solution. Using AutoHotkey to create simple scripts and launching then with WAP (as Application) is a great way to extend QAP's capabilities.

@Vernon: Of course, you have to install AutoHotkey (freeware) to run that script if you do not already have it.

Thanks,

Jean
