QAP ignores "change folder in dialog boxes" setting in certain cases

"Change folders in dialog box" option is enabled. In a 'Save' dialog box, whenever I choose a folder from the "Recent Folders" special menu, Directory Opus pops to the forefront and opens the folder. Nothing happens in the dialog.
