Recent files/folders still show up

I read instructions on how to delete/clear the Recent Files/Folder items from the "In the Works" menu by using the %appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent  location.

But when I delete all items in that folder, I am still seeing the same recent files/folders as before.

Is there any other way to remove the recent files/folders? Please let me know.

Also, this would be a good option to include "Clear Recent...." in one of the menus within the program.

Hi Neil,

Thank you for taking this to my attention. These instruction were incomplete since v9.2. I just updated them a minute ago.

Since QAP v9.2, the recent items are collected in the QAP database allowing to calculate the frequency and determine the order of items in the Frequent items menus. This also improves performance when refreshing Recent items and Frequent items menus. But you can remove these items from the database.
