I still have the folders on my C drive.  Any way to get my quick access pop info back?

Look in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Quick Access Popup for the file www.QuickAccessPopup.ini.

That's where everything is saved.

thanks much!  Unfortunately that folder is gone.  The folder where the program is installed is still there.  I was hoping what I needed would be there.

Sorry to hear that Richard. QAP is keeping five backups each day QAP is launch but all these backups are saved in the QAP working folder (the one Dale mentioned earlier). There is no other backup done by QAP. Maybe Windows has it in its Recycle Bin but there is little chance if you compter has been reset. It won't help you now but, for the future, you should make sure your Application Data folders (under C:\Users\username\AppData\) are part of your backup (or at least the most critical apps).

I think I have solved the problem for future issues.  I have installed it as a portable app, where I want it and easy to find.  I see that this saves the ini file and makes it easy to include in my back up.

Yes. It is true that it is easier to see and copy the ini file in portable setup.

This made me think of adding an option where users could choose in which folder they want to save the 5 backups of the ini file.

Also, you probably know that but I wanted to add that, for the record, the AppData folder is hidden by default. If you do not change this setting in Explorer options, you need to enter the full path to get it, for example "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Quick Access Popup" or the shortcut using an environment variable "%appdata%\Quick Access Popup".

Hello Jean,
I would also like an option where to store the backup files.
I always use the portabable version but like to have backups from all my tools in one special tree
which is then automatically saved into the cloud.
