I use Total Commander in admin mode (preferred filemanager)

QAP is running in admin mode:
- interaction with the Total Commander works
QAP Messenger does not access applications that are not in admin mode, e.g. windows explorer.

QAP is not running in admin mode:
- interaction with the Total Commander does not work (QAP menu does not open)

Running QAP and/or TC in admin mode is bad behaviour.
There is no need for it and Windows restricts communication in several ways.
You will not find many TC users running it by default in admin mode mainly for security reasons.
With a normal set-up of QAP and TC there are no problems at all
and I run it all the time.

Hi,

Carsten > QAP Messenger does not access applications that are not in admin mode

Is QAP Messenger launched as admin? If yes, there is not much I can do. The rest is between Windows' hands...

Horst > Windows restricts communication in several ways.

That's true. Personally, I use admin mode only when installing apps or changing Windows configuration.

Also, if this can help avoid running alway as admin, QAP can launch specific applications (or batches) in admin mode when required.
