QAP v9.3.2 includes improvements suggested recently or some time ago about, among other things, the Windows file shortcuts (the .lnk files).
Version: 9.3.2 (2018-12-07)
Windows file shortcuts in Live Folders
- retrieve "Name" (without .lnk extension), "Start In" and "Arguments" (parameters) properties from file shortcuts when building Live folders
- fix bug retrieving icon from file shortcut in Live folders
Import Windows file shortcuts to menu
- add context menu entry "Import Shortcut to Quick Access Popup menu" to import a Windows file shortcut into a new favorite with its name (without the .lnk extension), its icon and, for applications, its "Start In" and "Arguments" (parameters) properties
- add registry keys for the "Import Shortcut" command in the ManageContextMenu.bat batch used by portable installation users to enable or disable context menus
Various improvements
- before saving a new favorite of types Folder, Document and Application, check if location exists and, if not, return to the "Add/Edit favorite" dialog box
- in "Add/Edit favorite" dialog box for types Folder, Document and Application, trim unneeded double quotes if they enclose the favorite location
- remove exclamation marks enclosing Live folder names in menu; replace "!Folder!" with "Live Folder" in Settings window "Type" column
- user variables (like "{Dropbox}") are now supported in every file path where environment variables (like "%TEMP%") are supported in QAP (icon files, shared menu names, etc.)
Bug fixes
- handle correctly the situation where user cancels the command when asked for admin privilege after enabling or disabling the context menus (in "Options", "Menu" tab)
- center buttons correctly in some dialog boxes
- set icon for "Repeat Last Actions" menu when dynamic menu items are open
- when displaying the "Menu key" hotkey text, replace internal name "AppsKey" with "Menu key" as well as the other internal name "sc15D"
