Disqualified through installer

I just read the (currently) newest blog entry under
http://code.qbranch.se/post/listTag?selectedTag=qanban and have to re-
iterate my opinion from a recent twitter conversation:

Should qanban become available through an installer-only version it
would disqualify itself for
a) myself
and
b) most of my clients

Why?
a)
For myself it's 'just' a matter of taste and paranoia:
On a Mac I usually don't need Installers and - even more important - I
want to be able to control what happens on my system.

b)
For my Customers the problem lies in the fact that many of the open
minded people who would like to give the tool a try do not have
administrative rights on their machines. (No kidding, talking 'bout
big enterprises, right now with one client my own admin rights are in
the queue for 3 Sprints...)

I would like to start by assuring you that we in no way are thinking about removing the standalone war. Our hope is that the installer will make it a little bit easier for non-technical users to give Qanban a try without having to go into the commandline. Ofc if those very same users dont have the rights to install anything on their system that will be a problem and they will still have to use the standalone war anyway.

In conclusion, standalone-war is here to stay and will in some release be complemented by an installer but they will be 2 separate downloads.

I hope this answered your fears. Thanks for the feedback!
Kind Regards
