Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead with strong expertise in full-stack development, cloud-native architectures, and AWS services. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience leading development teams, designing scalable enterprise applications, and delivering high-volume, low-latency solutions.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, AWS, and modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, best practices, and unit testing methodologies.
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency, highly available enterprise applications.
- Create detailed technical designs and architecture for scalable web applications.
- Develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Build and maintain cloud-native and serverless applications on AWS.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system reliability.
- Implement security best practices across applications and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business users to deliver technical solutions.
Required Skills and Experience
- 15+ years of overall IT experience with at least 13+ years in Java development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java Full Stack development.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Advanced experience with Angular.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience leading development teams and mentoring engineers.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and code quality tools.
AWS & Cloud Requirements
- Extensive experience with AWS services including:
- EC2
- S3
- Lambda
- DynamoDB
- API Gateway
- CloudFormation
- CloudWatch
- ECS
- EKS
- Fargate
- IAM
- KMS
- CloudTrail
- Step Functions
- Experience designing and implementing serverless architectures.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and cloud automation.
- Expertise in monitoring, logging, performance tuning, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
DevOps Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
- Knowledge of CodeDeploy and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies and orchestration platforms.
- Experience with Kubernetes and DevOps best practices.
Preferred Skills
- PostgreSQL and SQL.
- Python scripting and automation.
- Experience with containerized application deployment and management.
