Required Skills

• 5 years experience in Software Quality Assurance
• 5+ Years experience of Automated QA Testing
• Experience in QTP.
• Experience in Microsoft Testing Manager (TFS Version)
• 5 years test case design and development
• 3 years testing web applications and gathering requirements
• Experience in back-end interface testing
• Prior experience testing web based applications and creating complex SQL Scripts is required.
• Knowledge of BPT automated testing, etl and any testing certifications are highly desired traits.

 

The primary responsibilities :

• This role would include owning, tracking and resolving software testing related issues.
• The Sr. Software Quality Assurance (QA) Tester will be responsible for gathering requirements, creating test plans and cases and executing the test scripts using automated technologies such as QTP and TFS MS Testing Manager.
• Knowledge of SQL Server
• Gathering requirements and analyzing them with testing in mind
• Execution and analysis of testing of user and system interface functionality
• Track issues to successful resolution
• Collect metrics to measure test progress & quality outcome
• QA team member responsible for the planning, creation and execution of testing activities - to include both manual and automated testing.
• Works with business owner(s) to develop and implement related test plans/cases
• Defect management and proactive identification of risks to management.
• Works with the customer and development to reproduce production problems and identify gaps in the regression test suite (both manual and automated).
• Ability to draft system test plans and lead test execution
• Assist in building a culture of learning and continuous improvement for the team
