Position 1:
Job Title : Quality Test Specialist
Location : Dearborn, MI
Duration : 6+ Months
Key responsibilities are:
- Research project documentation then enter testable requirements into TestDirector.
- Work directly with application Business Analyst, business customers, and project team members to identify appropriate test case coverage and related test data requirements.
- Write, review with business and development team, and execute Functional and System test cases that explore and verify application functionality.
- Document application defects and enable defect management, including working with the development team on the resolution of testing related defects.
Required Skills:
Must have at least 5+ years testing experience.
- Prior experience with testing on MainFrame, UNIX, Tera Data, Data Stage, Oracle and SQL Server technologies
- Mainframe based application testing experience a must.
- Prior experience with database development and testing, strong sql skills and ETL testing.
- Previous experience with HP Quality Center
- Good communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work within a team setting and independently.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand complex business and technical requirements.
- Strong commitment to quality.
Experience testing mainframe applications.
Experience testing applications with no GUI front end
Experience on Agile projects
Supervisory Skills: Not a supervisory position. Will take direction from a Test Lead
Position 2:

- Mainframe knowledge and experience coupled with Teradata scripting knowledge and experience as well as a very good understanding of SQL.
- Knowledge of COBOL based applications and data loads.
- Prior experience with database development and testing, strong sql skills and ETL testing.
- Previous experience with HP Quality Center
- Good communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work within a team setting and independently.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand complex business and technical requirements.
