*About HealthCampKWT:*
HealthCamps are events where people from all walks of life both inside and
outside health care are encouraged to participate together. The diversity
of experience brings eye-opening insights to problems and stimulates
innovative thinking and solution visioning to approach the complex problems
faced across the health care spectrum. Dasman Diabetes Institute has been a
strong supporter of HealthCampKWT and continues to do so. At HealthCamp the
Participants themselves provide the content; they develop and plug into a
schedule grid on the day of the event. Anyone can present and host a
session in nearly any format. The Agenda for the day grows organically as
the conversations and ideas develop. You don't have to be an expert to
present a topic. You may have a burning question. Some of the best sessions
are put forward by the non-experts because they engage the other
participants to develop insights to an issue. Discussions cover topics such
as Participatory healthcare, the use of Social Media in healthcare and
mHealth. The meeting space will allow for one 10-minute session at a time
followed by a 5 minutes Q&A.
