Eclipse IAM (q4e) + mvn 2.1 + Eclipse 3.4.2

I have a standard maven project with war packaging that works fine
with command line mvn. If I understand things right importing such a
project into Eclipse should result in a WTP enabled project. What I do
is

File -> Import -> Maven 2 -> Maven 2 project, point out the project
catalog and click finish.

It works fine, I get a project that I can build and run, except it is
not a WTP project. No error messages. Am I doing something wrong?

(Please use the eclipse newsgroup or the iam-dev list for support).

First thing to check that you have installed WTP and IAM WTP support (it is a separate feature).

Also, you should check that the eclipse has not been already configured before importing (no .project, .classpath or .settings exist).

Once you figure out what makes it work for you, please let us know.

Thanks!

Yup, I actually figured it out after a while. You are right I forgot
to install IAM WTP. Works great now.

Thanks
