Eclipse Version: 3.6
Java Version:1.6
OS:WinXP SP3 - 32

When I make a "Checkout Maven Project", write the name of the project, I
choose the repository and the revision ... pulse finish "and nothing happens

With Subversive SVN integration, but without IAM go fine.

what version of subversive do you have installed?

Seems to work in my machine with
org.eclipse.team.svn.core_0.7.8.I20091023-1300.jar

Does not work with the latest version for Helio:
org.eclipse.team.svn.core_0.7.9.I20100512-1900.jar
