Is it possible to mute the keyboard sound for the program without just
turning off all the sound for my computer?

I want to listen to my iTunes pretty loud without having louder
keyboard sounds, too.

You can turn off the typewriter click from the preferences dialog
(Ctrl-P) on the "Misc" tab: Sounds -> Active.
