Not saving letter

Hi there, I'm a beginning writer from Slovak Republic. I really enjoy Q10 appearance, sound and so on but I have one big problem that prevents me from using this amazing app. In my language we have a letter č. For example: when I type words like čas (means time) or čo (means what) - really important words for me -  everything is OK, but when I save it and then open it again in Q10 or Notepad, č changes to c. I'm so sad about this. Any ideas how to fix it?

I have the same issue with polish special characters. The special characters like ąśćźż are visible during writing but when I re-open the file, the "tails" and "lines" are gone to the "basic" letters. Doesn't matter the font (because at first I thought the font I picked doesn't support non-english letters) - it just looks like ą is saved as a, ś as s etc. Can we have this fixed? I was using Q10 few years ago and I think it didn't have this issue then (maybe Windows 11 fault?).
