Do you want to learn how to install and use Pyxel? Become more familiar with the more advanced operating modes of Pyxel? Or learn how to make your first contribution to the framework?
As an addition to the “Space and scientific CMOS workshop” taking place at ESTEC on the 22,23 November, the Pyxel developer team is organizing on November 24th in the morning a Pyxel training session from 09:00 till 12:00. In this training, you will receive support in installing Pyxel on your own computer, follow a step-by-step tutorial on running a first detector simulation, get familiar with the different modes of operation, learn how to add your own models and contribute to the framework. You can register at this link: Registration.
The training is hybrid, upon registration you will receive instructions depending on whether you intend to join physically at ESTEC or online.
If you have a specific application in mind for your Pyxel simulations or if you are interested in a particular mode (see all Pyxel implemented detector effects models here: Models in Pyxel) do let us know, we reserved a bit of time at the end of the training for discussion. More info about the collaborative detection simulation framework at https://esa.gitlab.io/pyxel/.
