Dear members of the Scientific Detector Workshop community,
We are thrilled to announce that registration and abstract submission for the Scientific Detector Workshop 2025 (SDW2025) are now open. Please see: https://www.mso.anu.edu.au/sdw2025/ Apologies for those getting this announcement more than once.
The Australian National University (ANU) will host SDW2025 in Canberra, Australia during 6-10 October 2025, with an opening reception on Sunday evening, 5 October. Canberra is the national capital of Australia and has several museums and facilities that showcase the culture, science, and flora and fauna of Australia.
The timing of SDW2025 has been chosen to follow on the heels of the International Astronautical Conference (IAC) that will be held in Sydney, Australia during September 28 – October 3, 2025.
Please register and submit your abstract for an oral or poster presentation by June 30th (abstract submission on registration page).
Please also encourage younger colleagues to join the meeting. We are pleased to offer grants of up to $3,000 (Australian dollars) to Early Career Researchers (ECR) to support their participation in the workshop. You will find the option to apply for a $3,000 ECR grant on the registration page. Note, to pre-register for the workshop put 0 in the number of attendees.
