Dear all,
The engineering fellowship is once again open at ESO.
This is equivalent to a 3-year postdoc position, where applicants are expected to present an independent research plan that fits in with existing ESO projects.

A PhD is not required; an MSc + research experience is sufficient.
We would very much welcome applications from anyone who wants to work on Pyxel, in particular to simulate the detectors we plan to use on the ELT instruments.

I would of course be available to answer any questions potential applicants may have about the detector work we are doing at ESO and discuss potential future projects involving Pyxel.
