manifest problem

I have a project which builds a self executing jar, ie has mainclass
in the manifest.

when the obfuscate plugin runs using an assembley construct all the
manifest.mf get filtered out including the one from the projects final
jar.

I have looked at the "dont filter manifest.mf" discussion but that is
a blanket filter.

I can not see a way to just retain the manifest.mf from the projects
final jar which is the injar.

Suggestions welcome.

As soon as I had done the append, the solution came to me

I added an <archive> pragma in the <configuration> section - DOH

You might want to add something to docs about self executing assemblies.
