Hi Jim

It has been a few years, but starting to have trouble withe the old PI3 and an older version of your script. I have left it all alone as it was operating flawlessly until recently, now producing 401 errors.

My only joy now is feeding Wunderground and I would like to keep it going. I could shift it to a PI4 currently running my mail server.

I keep getting this from Wunderground:

5:08:47:urllib3.connectionpool:Starting new HTTPS connection (1): weatherstation.wunderground.com:443
15:08:49:urllib3.connectionpool:https://weatherstation.wunderground.com:443 "GET /weatherstation/updateweatherstation.php?dateutc=2022-09-21+17%3A27%3A00&windgustmph=3.80&tempf=84.4&windspeedmph=1.57&baromin=29.9168&rainin=0&humidity=57&winddir=90&action=updateraw&softwaretype=pywws&dewptf=67.5&dailyrainin=0&ID=INTKATHE2&PASSWORD=king3131 HTTP/1.1" 401 13
15:08:49:pywws.service.underground:http status: 401
15:09:09:pywws.weatherstation:delay 11, pause 0.5

As always, any help appreciated.

Mike

I'm getting 401 errors from them as well, so I suspect it's a problem at
their end. 401 means "unauthorized".

You might want to change your password now that you've emailed it to
over 500 people. Weather Underground isn't important enough for anyone
to want to impersonate you though.

According to their status page
https://support.weather.com/s/?language=en_US they're expecting brief
outages on 21st September while they upgrade their systems.

It seems to be back to normal now - my setup has uploaded a lot of data
in the last half hour or so.
