Hi everyone,

Here is a copy of the rough draft of my proposal -
http://ideamonk.in/soc/ideamonk-pykata-gsco2010.pdf
It's a copy of what I've put up on melange already and what would be
on my blog soon.

Reviews are welcome,

Abhishek

Very complete proposal.

I have two *very biased* suggestions to make.

1) You might want to one line describing how Pykata works similarly to the doctest environment in Crunchy - some other people may be familiar with Crunchy but not Pykata.

2) When discusing pylint & pychecker integration, you might want to point out that this could be done in a way similar to what was done for Crunchy  (which also supports pyflakes by the way) and that you already have heard from the main Crunchy developer that he would be able to help you with that.  :-)

Good work Abhishek. I've inserted some comments in your proposal, and
will upload it as 'proposal01.txt' to our files area as soon as that
upload function recovers from what appears to be another server
stalled.

Looks like the server is stalled for a long time. I've posted the
file at:

Hi everyone,

Been busy with college lately. I'm busy till 9th April now :( , farewell to organize, web dev. workshop to do, etc. So I will update my proposal right now and post a public link here which points to my submission at Socghop itself in sometime.

@Andre, thanks! I would definitely look into Crunchy's codebase for hints :P and would bug you, in case needed.
cometIO.py is also interesting. I've written fairly simple comet using webpy once, but this one seems fairly bigger than that!

@David, Thanks for an indepth review. I have removed a few things, have added things suggested.

Here is a public view to my updated proposal -

Thanks & regards,

Abhishek

Thanks David,

I've updated my submission on socghop.appspot.com.

Tomorrow being the deadline, everything seems right into place.

Thanks for all the help so far :)

Regards,

Abhishek
