Hi,

We (Chromium Networking APIs team) are planning to migrate pywebsocket to GitHub, due to Google Code shutdown.

I am the main contact of this migration process.

Please let us know if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions.

Please commit pending CLs on codereview.appspot.com:

If you have pending CLs on codereview.appspot.com/, please commit (or close) them by August 19th (Wed), 2015, 23:59 PDT (or please let me know if this deadline doesn't work for you).
Commits to code.google.com after that date will not be migrated by us.

Summary of the migration plan:
https://code.google.com/p/pywebsocket/ will move to GitHub (URL is TBD).
The source code repository, issue tracker and wiki will be migrated (by Google Code exporter).
Dependencies from the Chromium repository will be also manually updated.

I'll also try to migrate notifications to pywebsocket-reviews and group/pywebsocket-bugs (TBD).

After migration, we are planning to change the code review process from Rietveld-based to pull-request-based, because

  • Using pull requests is more common than Rietveld on GitHub, and

  • Because pywebsocket and Chromium are relatively independent, we don't have to use a common review process among them.

Thanks,
hiroshige
