Hi,
I hope soon I'll be able to announce our in-person events for February and March, but in the meantime I wanted to give you a bit of a heads-up.
While I think in-person events are great, I also know that many people cannot attend them. For whatever reason.
That's why I am starting to organize online events as well. I'll contact previous speakers and I'll ask them to give the same, or an updated version of their presentations at our virtual events.
In fact there are already two scheduled:
* Noam Morey: From Migrations to Tests: Alembic-powered DB Consistency
* Amir More: Cultural Learnings of PostgreSQL for Make Benefit Glorious Company Product
Besides repeating presentations that were given at earlier in-person events, I think this can also be an opportunity for people who would like to give a presentation, but cannot make it to the meetings. This way they can give one from the comfort of their home via Zoom. Talk to me if you are interested!
Happy Hanukkah
Gabor
