Hi,

I am trying to put together a page about the history of Python in Israel, or the Python community in Israel, if you wish.

I started with a few that are now listed here: https://python.org.il/en/history

I'd love to get your input about other events that you think we might want to mention there.
e.g. changes in organizers. major events, release parties, etc.

https://pycon.org.il/2024/ lists some of the earlier pycons starting from 2018. Are there pages from earlier PyCons?
The PyWeb-IL Meetup group only goes back to 2014, the 38th meeting. Can you help with earlier events?
Can you remind me what was the python-il mailing list?

regards
    Gabor

After some snooping around in Wayback Machine, here's the announcement of the second meetup (September 8th 2008)

@Gabor Szabo this is awesome, thanks!
As Adir mentioned, the PyWeb-IL Google group has it all, you don't even need the wayback machine: https://groups.google.com/g/pyweb-il/search?q=after%3A2008-08-01%20before%3A2008-09-30
It would be a great idea if we can export it and serve in the website relevant historical parts like meetups and conferences (the group owners should be able)
