question: correct way to use wavedec/waverec omitting a dyadic level

Hi everyone,

Can somebody explain me how to reconstruct a signal omitting one dyadic level?

I have a signal which is strongly affected by a resonant component which, as far as I understand can be filtered out by considering only higher level dyads.

So I am currently setting to 0 all the d components that I want to remove, but I have to admit I am pretty ignorant on the matter, any idea is really welcome!
