True color enhancements

What  enhancements use for make True color Goes 16?
Historigram ,  piece-wise .....etc

The default is to use the cira_stretch as indicated here:

To add to this, here is the actual Python code doing the majority of the calculations:

There are other ways of stretching/scaling the true color RGB, but as Martin said this is the default in Satpy. If you're familiar with the CSPP Geo Geo2Grid software, a different enhancement is used for true color in that software.
