Hi;
PyTorcs has been dead for many months, but Jeko is soon going to spend time making our Swig files work with Python. After, there is some makefile and debugging to get the mechanical port working.
Once it is working, we are back to this status:

At that point, many things become possible and relatively easy:
http://keithcu.com/wiki/index.php/OpenRacingThere is a lot that would need to be done, but this is a good and simple place for people who want to work on driving AI or computer vision. There are other free simulators, but have big limitations and are old or complicated codebases so it is easy to get bogged down. Meanwhile, there are good places to grab bits of useful Python and other code once this system is running.
So this is the current status. I am currently making a movie so I don't have much resources to spend on this now, but I plan to get back to it this year. If you'd like to work on some part, you are most welcome. I checked out your homepage (

Regards,
