I want to install Py(x,y) in Windows XP.
This is my first installation of Py(x,y), so there are no previous versions on my machine.

When I tried to run Py(x,y)-2.7.3.1.exe, a message appeared that said that to upgrade Py(x,y)
with this patch, Py(x,y)-2.7.3.0 had to already be present.
That is, 2.7.3.1 appears to be only a patch, and not a self-contained installation.

But 2.7.3.0 isn't offered on http://code.google.com/p/pythonxy/wiki/Downloads, nor anywhere else.

Perhaps my email from the 22nd didn't make it to you.  See the downloads page at code.google.com/p/pythonxy/wiki/Downloads rather than following the link on the main page.

Py(x,y)-2.7.3.1.exe is an update file listed under UPDATES a few paragraphs from the top of the download page.  This is a 117 MB update, that does require 2.7.3.0.  However, at the top of that same page, listed under CURRENT RELEASE, are links to Python(x,y)-2.7.3.1.exe (3 different mirror locations, actually).  This file is over 500 MB in size and is the complete distribution.

Thanks, Jim.  That is very helpful.

I indeed had not received your earlier email.  It is odd that you hadn't received a message that it hadn't been delivered.
