I installed pythonxy 2.6.5 but forgot to uninstall 2.6.2 and cancel
the install before complete.
After this mistake, even I delete pythonxy, python26 folder, pythonxy
2.6.5 cannot be installed correctly.
The installer disables the location, user selection, and does't
install python2.6 first. After clear the Windows Registry by deleting
all the item with "python" string manually, I can Install it again.
So, there are some settings in the Registry preventing a completely
new install. My question is what are these settings, and how to delete
them automatically.

Python(x,y) registry entries are the following:
HKCU or HKLM\Software\Python(x,y)

That's all.
If the installer had the time to install Python, you might want to
remove Python itself by executing the following uninstall command:
MsiExec.exe /I{24AAB420-4E30-4496-9739-3E216F3DE6AE}
