Is there any possibility of adding pycuda to the pythonxy
distribution. Pycuda is a library which enables use of the NVidia GPUs
in python codes.

The installation is nontrivial and very dependent on build
environments.

See http://wiki.tiker.net/PyCuda/Installation/Windows for typical
installation instructions.

See http://documen.tician.de/pycuda/ for information on the library.

Thanks,
Ed

Hi,

PyCUDA serves only those with Nvidia cards. PyOpenCL is already
present as an additional plugin - roughly covering the same territory.
Can you detail why PyCUDA is needed as well?

Also, it's best if you could open an issue for this.

gabi,
Thanks. After reviewing it, I think I can accomplish what I need
with PyOpenCL. I understand the desire to support the broadest base of
users.

I was having a really tough time installing the library.
