As said Matthew, (almost ?) all the packages needed to get pythonxy on Ubuntu are available though
standard packages installation (apt, synaptic ...).
That's the raison why pythonxy-linux is rather un-continued.
Pehaps you can say what required specific package you can't find in standard python lists ?
