Dear all,
I have created a Python XY team at Launchpad for package creation &
development on Ubuntu.

https://launchpad.net/~pythonxy

Anyone registered at Launchpad is welcome to join!

I have created two PPAs:
Python XY Individual Packages - https://launchpad.net/~pythonxy/+archive/individualpackages
=> For single Python science packages not yet in Ubuntu

Python XY Metapackages - https://launchpad.net/~pythonxy/+archive/metapackages
=> For metapackages similar to the Windows PyXY distribution to be
created.

I went through the diresome process of learning to package for Ubuntu.
It's definately not easy as there are many rules and convetions which
are hidden or not known.

I have suceeded to get Spyder packaged!

Currently, I am trying to get the scikits.timseries build. That's
where I have many difficulties.

Hope that you appreciate this.

Best regards,
Timmie
