Managed to miss:

and added a comment/feature suggestion there, basically to add an "Extensions" menu with appropriate sub-menus for the features under it, and to move two features there:

 - Export as (Laser) GCode

 - Export as Foldable PS

(if appropriate, under suitable sub-menus when there are sufficient entries to warrant that)

In the past, I've suggested that one way to get more control over 3D printing would be to add support for FullControlGcode:

and as noted, I have that working in my project.

Lastly, I think a huge win in terms of usability would be to get full support for the modeling (esp. colour) aspects of the .3mf format (my understanding is that that doesn't work --- if it does, a pointer to a code example would be most welcome), esp. if this could be propagated back to OpenSCAD. (naturally FGC support would be specific to PythonSCAD).
