Hi,
Thought some of you might be interested in this:
The MeeGo Conference in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin, Ireland November 15-17th, 2010 is a
free, three day conference open to all who are interested in the MeeGo
platform and application development.
MeeGo is an open source, Linux project which brings together the Moblin
project, headed up by Intel, and Maemo, by Nokia, into a single open
source activity. MeeGo currently targets platforms such as netbooks/entry-level
desktops, handheld computing and communications devices, in-vehicle
infotainment devices, connected TVs, and media phones.
Meego includes python, and the next release of pyside, Nokia's LGPL python binding to Qt, will support Meego, so it will be possible to develop native applications in python.
