Needed help to start using the module

Hi all, 

I'm a newbie using the module and I need help. I'm trying to create an app to publish posts on my feed and on one of my pages. What should I exactly do? I tried to follow the documentation, but I lost a half of a day on it without succeeding. 

Any advice and example is welcome.
