No, I haven't heard of any python courses being held in Calgary.  If you're a single person looking to do Python training, you might look at online training.  If you're looking for a group of people, I know that Greg Wilson did a course concurrently with U of T and U of A to teach Python to scientists and faculty, but I don't know if he's available to do commercial training courses.

http://software-carpentry.org/ - Greg Wilson's site.
http://learning-python.com/ - Mark Lutz - I don't remember this name offhand but it looks like he has been doing training for a while.

Python isn't a large language like, say, VB or Java, so it is pretty quick to learn.  Without knowing any more about what you are looking for, that's about all I can suggest.

You can also ask questions on this list. :)

If you are already a programmer, i highly recommend "dive into python".

Very recently (as of this year I think) the University of Calgary has
begun teaching it's introductory CS courses in Python. See

John Aycock
CPSC 217, Introduction to Computer Science for Multidisciplinary Studies

and Zong Peng Li
CPSC 231: Introduction to Computer Science
(http://pages.cpsc.ucalgary.ca/~zongpeng/CPSC231/index.html)

For the novice programmer I recommend Magnus Lie Hetland's "Beginning
Python" but the code is written in 2.6.

Also see Norm Matloff's Python tutorials. They're excellent.

By the way I should have said "its" and not "it's" but hopefully
nobody noticed ;)

Also, there's always the Python User Group meetings - fun /and/ educational.
