Is it possible to constrain a window to mayas viewport?

What I want to do is, create a window, and let all other windows, except mayas mainWindow, to be on top of it.
Something like in a text editor, 'send-to-back'

Maybe someone knows something?

Have you tried looking up the QWidget reference and parenting your widget to it? I know there are some issues with transparency, but I think you can parent it up higher than the actual viewport display.

I tried to parent it to the 'modelPanel4' QWidget, and the 'flowLayout1', neither seems to work.
