What is Vixen?
Vixen is a Version Control System for Autodesk Maya based on Git.

Isreal: Unfortunately, I have not access to any Mac right now. But i am sure Vixen will support OSX soon.

Panupat: I think my company will release it as a free product soon. I am negotiating to release it's source so everyone can customize and improve it. We have not any plan to commercialize it right now.

Updated to version 0.5.3
 - Fixed bugs relating to reference textures and data.
 - Almost complete redesign of the way Vixen deals with references and textures and attachments.

For those who use Vixen, Please update it, cause version .0.5.5 is an important update. (specially for windows users.)
Vixen is now faster and records full hash of commit in it's local database for better security.

Hey Farsheed,

Vixen looks to be a cool project, but I might suggest that you move it
to a dedicated project site as opposed to updating the group every day
with each minor point release. That way you can organize a nice change
log, and those who are tracking the progress can easily follow it and
also communicate bugs and issues to you.
Obviously if there are major version releases or important project
news, you should shoot the group a message about it, such as when
Vixen becomes fully released as open source on github (or other). But
I do think this could benefit from its own project area.

It wasn't so much a matter of inconvenience for this list as a convenience for your project. It will be nicer for those following. Im not a moderator or anything ;-)
It was just a suggestion as I can tell you are very active on this right now.
