Hello,

First time poster here...I wondered if there was a way to specify the default render resolution for maya?

Maya defaults to HD 540 when you launch it.  I am changing it in userSetup to a custom value, but this means I would also need to create a callback in order to also change it if you hit "new scene".  I was hoping that this default was maybe set somewhere in user preferences, but haven't had any luck finding it...if that is indeed the way to do it, then so be it, but I hoped it was maybe stored somewhere...

Thank you in advance for any help.

Hey,

Use scriptJob for event called when a New scene is created (or whatsoever)

Best,
