Hi All,

I want to know if its possible to change the Maya's default splash screen from a central location.

I could able to change the splash-screen locally on individual system by replacing the splash-screen image (.png).

In an organization with 1000's of workstations its hectic process to change splash-screen image. I know we can deploy from Active-directory in windows. But on every change in the image we need to followup sysadmins to do the job.

So i want to know if its possible from central location.

You will probably need to insert the path to a directory that contains your custom "MayaStartupImage.png" into the XBMLANGPATH environment variable, but before maya starts up. Maya.env would work, but then everyone's Maya.env would need to update. Maybe everyone could use some maya wrapper program that could set this environment var, and then start up maya?
