I everyone,

A few years ago I rubbed a skinCluster export to python. I did some research on the internet and everyone says, even now, that this function is very slow. I tried to use it and in fact it is much faster than the solution found on the net with setAttr. So suddenly I ask myself a question ... How come that everyone finds it so slow?

That sounds quite intimate. I hope you and Python have found much happiness and are doing well these days, together. Or at the very least, Python called you the next day?

@Justin lol

Yeah I have no idea either. Using the API functions I've always found it plenty fast.
Of course there are a lot of ways to make code slow, and figuring out why code is slow is not always easy. I had the benefit of seeing a fast version someone else wrote before I had to write my own the first time.

@Justin
Thanks for you comment :). Yes but I didn't reply I prefere c...
My english is not really good. Sorry if I don't use a correct word all time...

@Michaek
So it's not just an idea on my part or a bad code with the setAttr. The setWeights of the API is much faster.
