A lot of people have reported that the python-whiteboard "new release"
does not work with "old wiimote" and some "not original ones".

The problem is that some wiimotes talk only sending commands with
prefix 0x52 on socket 17
and does not working sending commands with prefix 0xa2 on sockett 19.

I have patched the code in order to put the prefix code only in
send_data (See patched file in attachment)

The code discriminate how send data matching on the wiimote model name
(see line 200 of linuxWiimoteLib.py).

It uses the 0xa2 only for "Nintendo RVL-CNT-01-TR" wiimotes, in other
cases it use old 0x52 way.

The code has been test successfully on an old wiimote and on a new
wiimote plus.

I have the doubt about some wiimote plus old models that reveal the
name "Nintendo RVL-CNT-01-TR"
but they don't support the 0xa2 prefix but only the 0x52 one.

Have you get some old Wiimote Plus to test with the new code?

I have some old wiimotes (without wiimotion plus), both Chinese and original Nintendo. I have never check the label you have mentioned, but I could do some tests with my wiimotes that don't work with python-whiteboard new release.
