Hello!

The problems you have may be related to the old cwiid library.

I have already a new version of python-whiteboard that uses linuxWiimoteLib (the same library that gtkwhiteboard uses) barely working in my computer.

Expect news very soon!

So do I'm expecting the new release using linuxWiimoteLib!
This will solve a lot of problems...

I'm available to test and patch the code.
